New Year's Resolution: 2022 checklist for success!

Let's Get Started!

🔲 Make a plan: Be specific about your goals and what you want to achieve. Make sure your goals are realistically achievable and are measurable over time.

🔲 Mark your calendar: Make room in your schedule, put it on your calendar, and stick with it! Treat it like an appointment, if you have to cancel then reschedule. Those who are consistent right from the start are more likely to succeed!

🔲 Stay hydrated: Invest in a reusable water bottle and keep it with you throughout the day. Staying hydrated will keep you from getting fatigued, will boost performance, and support mental clarity. Plus, it's more eco-friendly than a toss-away bottle!

🔲 Start a 5-minute morning routine: Starting your morning with a quick routine of stretches and warm-ups will set you up for a fantastic day, reduce tension, and fill you with energy.

🔲 Take a fitness class: Fitness classes are a fun way to supplement your workout routine. It keeps your gym time social and is a cost-effective way to access professional fitness training.

🔲 Learn something new: Try out a new piece of equipment or exercise every week! This will keep your gym routine fresh and will keep your body from hitting the dreaded plateau.

🔲 Track your goals: Keep a notebook or digital log of your workout and progress. This will let you know if you are on track with your goals and seeing your progress over time is a great motivator!

🔲 Repeat! Your health is a lifelong investment!

Amy's November Plank Challenge

The 5:45 am group fitness class will be having a core progression challenge. This challenge is for any ability. Workouts will include progression moves to develop your ability to do a plank hold. Over the 8 classes held on Monday and Wednesday leading up to Thanksgiving Day, we will evolve into a full 2-minute plank hold. You will gain support and strength. Give it a try!

Dublin Walk/Run/Bike

First Junior Golf Camp was TEE-rific!

Last week, July 13th, kicked off the first Lakeland Fitness and Golf Junior Golf Camp! This three-day event was a fun filled learning experience for youth golfers ages 6 to 14 of varying skill levels. The junior golfers received hands-on instruction from our golf professional, Scott Howard, and golf assistant, Kailey Godfrey, using our four TruGolf simulators and indoor putting green.
